KSEA-NE (Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association, New
England) will host a series event of Career Development Workshop also this
year. In 2007 and 2008 we hosed events with professors in US and Korea and also
with engineers/researchers at companies in US and Korea, respectively.
This time we want to host the third event with researchers at national labs in
US and Korea. Participating organizations include KIST, ETRI, KITECH from Korea
and NASA, Draper Lab from US. We will introduce researcher life at national
labs, life as one of the society members (including salary, social status,
etc), the way to join the labs (citizenship issue, networking, recommendation,
application, etc). Please refer to the pdf file attached here for the details

After series of presentations by speakers we will have Q&A session for free
discussion. You may ask questions in person or feel free to send us the
questions you may want us to ask on behalf of you. We can ask even sensitive
questions for you.

Right after the event we will move to one of the Korean restaurants to have
personal discussion and consultation with speakers with nice dinner.
